Giacometti, 2002 - 2012
Graphite and eraser ink burnt on canvas /
Triptych (3 panels of 81 x 116 cm each)
This triptych bears witness to numerous experiments using the "sympathetic ink" technique.
It reveals a text that OliveOlivier had written and published on the engraved work of Alberto Giacometti on the occasion of an exhibition
devoted to this artist in 2002.
The slow and steady technical work that led to the revelation of these words was done on a razor's edge: the fire made it possible for them to appear at the risk, at any moment, of either destroying them or making the imprint barely perceptible.
