An ephemeral work in situ, this installation takes the form of a
challenge: to attempt a possible illustration of what
deconstructivism is.
Visual, sound and involving an active participation of the spectator, Less is a bore (Red is Not a Color)
is a creation that aims to reveal
rather than to hide.
In this sense, it has a tautological aspect just like Less is more, a minimalist work presented in a minimalist architecture (the Blockhaus DY10 in Nantes) a few years before. It is in a way its counterpart.
